Roadmap

The usage of a roadmap is an additional methodology that a Scrum Team may employ to predict upcoming deliveries or to transform Product Backlog items into a visual representation. A roadmap can give stakeholders a clear picture of the scheduled feature delivery in the product backlog. Everyone who uses the roadmap must be aware that the team may modify it when new information becomes available. The roadmap can be adjusted by the Product owner and the manager.

1. Start with your product vision.

2. Focus on goals and benefits.

3. Tell a coherent story from the product backlog item to the bigger picture.

4. Communicate changes with stakeholders.

5. Create a time estimate for each feature.

6. Regularly review and modify your product roadmap.
