One of the risks is that team members may not participate or engage in the Sprint retrospective session. This can decrease the effectiveness of the retrospective and limit the improvement opportunities. However, the team should encourage active participation by using various retrospective techniques such as brainstorming, group discussions, and writing ideas on the virtual board.
